Parker was incorporated in 1981 and now has a population of approximately 19,000 people spreadParker, Colorado around in a variety of residential communities. Many of the homes in the outlying areas are on 5 acre sites boasting tall pine trees and panoramic mountain views.

The town's history is rooted in the stagecoach era when lumber and sawmill operations were attractive enterprises because of the heavily treed area. The town is 13 square miles and has several major shopping areas, restaurants, and numerous planned communities.

The area is well-known for the 27-hole championship golf course, racquet club and nine lighted tennis courts, swimming pools, club house, restaurant at the Pinery Country Club and High Prairie Farms, a world-classParker, Colorado equestrian center. Bikers enjoy the extensive bike trails.

It's easy access to Denver International Airport has attracted many business commuters and those involved in the airline industry. Parker's convenient location to the Denver Tech Center yet small town atmosphere has also makes a popular location.
